I'm wondering why the schedule men's fellowship meetings for early in the morning. Around here, one is at 7 AM. I hardly get enough sleep. I don't think it's wise to get up that early on the Shabbat, at that, instead of getting some sleep on the one morning I can sleep in. Maybe the guys who schedule these things don't have to work late all the time and regularly get enough rest. Does anyone know what is behind this tradition

NBF, that one is insightful As my brother in law would say, Well I'll be dogged! If it is to keep from interfering with the Christian mans work day, for me it could be held late at night. Now seriously, there are men who thrive on and take pride in, arising early, it is natural for them. There are those of us who are up until 1-3AM and prefer to sleep in. I am not a MORNING person, and many folk are not. The morning folk I know personally, are in bed at 9-10PM every night.C6th said it right, They don't want him there and he accommodates them. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Obviously, I don't attend men's meetings, but I pretty much have the same policy. If it happens early on Saturday morning, I won't be there. It's the only day I have to sleep in and I am NOT NOT NOT a morning person More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name

I think NBF was exhibiting his snarky side as I was perhaps a bit harsh in my comments towards the OP.

I submit that I have and many of my friends have managed to get up early Saturday morning in order to make a 7:30 or 8 am tee time. Just sayin...
