The link about Texas' economics blew me away. It won't take much more to cause them to start really thinking about this |

I cannot imagine this being a serious situation, to secede I mean. I understand it has been talked for years, BUT in reality can it actually happen? I am not talking down to armed resistance, I am asking SERIOUSLY? Not just the pipe dreamers, but reality.?? The worst thing that has happened in our history was the UNCIVIL war. There was NO reason for that many people to die, and certainly not today that is crazy! Is it possible, logically, for this to happen peacefully? Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/ |

If Texas' people vote for it and are persistent in a negotiated withdraw, how can Washington say no without losing all credibility |

I am not sure they worry too much about credibility among us citizens, The do it right after an election and in 6 months it is old news. The just say, NO! end of story. No one with any sense on both sides of the issue want a military confrontation. Is there precedence in the USA?I know it was talked in Alaska and in Hawaii, but it was just talk and something for the media to play with for awhile. Of course I could be missing something. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/ |
