I'm not a Rush fan personally. I agree with most of his position. At the time he came on a station in Charlotte I was running a roach coach, same as my brother in law, a stanch dyed in the wool democrat. You have plenty time to listen to the radio. He suggested I listen to this Rush guy. He is great. He stands for the working man. I started listening and liked what I heard. My customers also heard. In a few months it was obvious Rush leaned toward the Republican stand. Soon my BIL told me, I will not listen to that idiot again, he is a Republican!Of course I told him what I had learned my self, Elmer, the Democrat party left us years ago! Just read their platform.Huh uh Jack, That is only there to get the N---- vote, none of us believe that. He actually believed that and said he never listened to 'Rush again.'So I agree Rush is a voice for conservatives, but his EGO gets in my way. Good or bad, I can't hear (understand him) anyway.But on a side note, I too have two Cochlear implants and I admire him for continuing when he cannot always understand his callers. That I know!
