A blind man could see where this is going. First homosexuality was a mental disorder, then it was accepted, now it is promoted...and they cannot help it. The obvious gaping hole in the logic of the left is the fact that society SHOULD DISCRIMINATE when it comes to sexual orientation. If someone is attracted to kids, 'getting help' is a good idea, a lot better one than acting on the attraction. But he or she should also be discriminated against if he/she tries to work at the local day care. It makes sense to discriminate against people based on sexual preference in some cases, especially if they go around talking about their sexual preferences, wearing T-shirts or symbols about it. If a man applies for a job, and mentions during a job interview that he is sexually attracted to Asian or redheaded women, and the boss doesn't hire him over that, he doesn't have any special legal protection. IMO, it should be okay to discriminate against him just for discussing the topic. But if he says he's gay, he'd be protected. The big problem comes when the psychologists call 'pedophilia' a 'sexual orientation'-- which it obviously is based on what 'sexual orientation' means. If laws offer special protection for perverted sexual orientations, how will this not be protected

In her talk, she defined pedophiles as those attracted exclusively to children. Based on that definition, she said some pedophiles were not child molestors and that some pedophiles were not child molesters. The definition seemed a bit poor to me. An adult being sexually attracted to small children is not normal, IMO. So why wouldn't someone who is attracted to adults and children of the opposite sex not be considered a pedophile? And why use 'phile' anyway. It's not really love. Her point was that society needed to make some room for those who have these feelings to admit to them so that they could get help and not hurt children. I disagreed with her idea that 'sexual orientation' was a fixed thing that no one every has any control over. She was against molesting children
