I believe that constitutionally Ted Cruz is eligible to be President. But since when do liberal activist judges care about the Constitution? Trump is right in sounding the alarm over what might happen if Cruz was to get the nomination without his eligibility be litigated. And please do not tell me that a liberal judge would not leap at the opportunity to cause the GOP to basically have to forfeit the election. In 2004 a Federal Judge awarded Puerto Rico 3 electoral votes ruling that it was unconstitutional to keep the territory from participating in the Electoral College. An appeals court immediately tossed the partisan, ideological ruling. But my point remains. I believe Trump wants Cruz to be his running mate. But he also does not want to attach an albatross to his ticket
