| That applies to Democrats and Republicans. What is the The Smoke Screen? ... Its the Super Delegates whom are not bound to vote according to the popular vote. ie. a vote for a leading politician could be close to the runner up but he is still ahead by virtue of of popular and electoral votes. However the Super delegates could vote for the runner up simply because they are not pledged to the popular vote, Thus swinging the runner up as the winner. Thus making your vote one that carries less weight , or any weight at all , than our forefathers designed. The Democratic party is even more corrupt with this matter; Wikipedia Source |

| You are right about the superdelegates, especially in the UN-DemocratiK party. The Republican equivelant are supposed to vote with the majority of their state as I recall. |

| It Was until the introduction of super delegates. The republican super delegates are essentially the same. they are not bound to the popular vote.And heres something to think about; |
