| The biggest problem here is in leadership before the vessels left port. NO VESSEL heads to sea without proper navigation. Some officer was afraid to say Sir we are not prepared, And some chief hoped he could fix things to save his boss. Someone tried to bluff their way thru and the USN and it's sailors suffered.
