| Which title? Pastor? Apostle? Prophet? Evangelist? Teacher? Doctor? Preacher?I don't even like to be referred to as brother Freeman. It's just Brad. If you can call Jesus by his first name, you can call me by mine.I do find it amusing that lots of folks known as pastor so and so are critical of people who use other titles. | Like roughrider? Brad,Not sure there is an equivalence between an self-bestowed ministry title and a screen name for an online forum. I do think there is a Biblical example of ordination, but I don't think one lays their hands on their own head to receive the title. Someone said there are some people who if they laid their hands on his head for ordination he would burn his hair in discuss. If I ordained myself I think I would have burns on my head and my hands. Self-ordination seems to lack New Testament examples. |

| I’m good with “brother.†I have never wanted to be called, “reverend.†I hope I am truly an individual’s pastor/shepherd, if that is what they call me. I have had some to call me ‘pastor’ whom I really would prefer that they not call me that. |
