| Graham was the recipient of numerous honery docterates. Although some referenced him as Dr. Billy Graham, he would always ask them not to. Those in his circle did not. At the crusades, in printed, audio, video material, he was always referenced as Billy Graham, Rev. Billy Graham or Mr. Graham. Why? He was a man of integrity and ethics.Billy Graham said not to call him Dr. Because his doctorate’s were honorary and that would take away from those who earned a doctorate. |
