on the flip side I am in shock that 1350 In attendance is the largest cog in the whole state of Alabama.😱😲😳 There are 3 southern Baptist churches in my town over 1500. The church of God has to do something folks. We gotta figure something out.. We need bigger cog’s. More than the Tithe of tithe thing. Honestly destination church may be a younger congregation we have to take that into consideration people under 50 make less now then they did when we were there age. We need to be celebrating them if they are a younger Church Reaching a new group. This Reminds me of old economy steve thinking things stay the same. Sometimes things aren’t the same as they were back in the day. Here is an explanation of old economy Steve if you need one. He is the poster child of why millennials everywhere are angry at there parents.www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2013/05/old-economy-steve-the-official-meme-for-embittered-millennials/276285/

Not just paychecks, but a tenth of all the increase they receive, as was the case under the Law. Proverbs 3:9says, Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of

I am always amazed at myself. I can justify my opinions and actions even if they go against some of my friends opinions.I doubt if 'lying' is a part of MOST COG preacher's actions or ideas. They are just looking at it from a different angle. There is a lot of truth in many churches that 'push' the idea we used to have in the COG, get the kids in church have much less income. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Post subject:  Aaron Scott: I have long advocated for the TOT to be taken from total INCOME...

Perhaps with the exception of missions, etc. Because the TOT can be gamed, I think we just make it, say, a flat 5% of TOTAL income. That not only makes it far more simple, but it also makes it harder to twist the spirit of the TOT through the use of technicalities.
