| While the Apostle Paul provides us with insights into the Resurrection unknown to the Pharisees, yet as a Pharisee he would be fully aware of a fundamental principle of the resurrection - rewards for the righteous and retribution for the unrighteous. His encounter with a Resurrected Jesus (Acts 9) and subsequent three years in which he developed the Gospel message he took to the Gentiles (Galatians 1:15f) obviously gave new meaning to the importance of the resurrection to Jesus' followers (1 Corinthians 15; Philippians 3:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13f, etc.) |
