| Takes one to know one, Jimmie. I’m currently doing undergrad work at the University of Maryland. I have 40 credits and a 4.0 GPA. But I am not sure why that would matter either way in a discussion about unearned degrees.I do appreciate the brilliance of your trap. | A few years back, the plant I worked at had a union strike and I had to work in the plant for about 12 weeks. I worked with a guy who was a non-degree engineer. Basically, he had a high school education and had been taught, by the company, rudimentary engineering about the one specific are of the plant he where he worked all the time. He was called an engineer. He was really annoyed that an engineer with a bachelor's degree made more money than him all because he had a piece of paper that he did not have. I told him, I wouldn't stand for it! I told him to go get him one of those pieces of paper. He NEVER mentioned it to me again. |
