I don't think a good man can be devastating, but I am sure it is possible. You do point out something that has been a problem. Just because a man is a great pastor doesn't mean he is an administrator. Just because a man has PAID HIS DUES does not mean he is capable. That works in business, politics and the religious world. And of course it has happened in the COG. The Western States are usually the ones that are used as a 'proving' ground. This comes from some observation of church and business, definitely not a spiritual insight. Builders get in over their heads at times and struggle when they attempt to build 'out of their league'. Example: I built good solid residential homes, small churches and businesses, but I know a Mall is out of my league. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't recommend rocking the boat in the COG. And this statement, true as it is, is an indictment against the COG for sinking into the mire of politicism and strong arm tactics in order to exert control over all who dare voice an honest opinion that may differ from the company line.In my opinion, the EC sees what it wants to see and will not permit facts to get in the way. In addition, they would allow someone to struggle for years, all while knowing they are not a good fit for the position rather than admit that a mistake was made. After all, every one of their appointments has been prayed over mightily, don’t you know “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

It is the job to the AB to do what they believe is best for the denomination, regardless of the effect on a pastor or local church. They are doing their job. Their job is to protect the system. As I heard an EC member tell an AB years ago it is your job to take care of the system that is taking care of you. The political system of the church is just that a political system. Some in the system believes it is about people, others believe it is about the system. Some Have a good heart but has poor skills, others have a self serving heart, but I’m please to say some has been able to be in the system and keep the right heart

Don't the good Book say they went out from us cause they was not of us? Indeed! It also says:Matthew 10:14(NASB95)“Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. Indeed it does, an it also speaks of them what despise government.
