| 20 years ago we got a call asking us to care of a baby that was found in a garbage can. 3lbs 15oz and 3000 times drug addicted. The doctor told us to call when she passed away. Our 9 years old son went with us to pick her up from the hospital. He look at her tiny body and said God has a destiny for her. So we named her Destiny. We prayed for a miracle. Once she lived 2 weeks the doctor said if she lived she would never walk or talk. At 9 months and she was walking the doctor said she would never learn the alphabet or a color. At 15 she won IL teen talent in graphic art design and now she is a preschool teacher. God taught us He knew more than any doctor. Celebrating our daughters 20th birthday I’m reminded of the song “tell me who’s report do you believe? I believe the report of the Lord.†[/img |
