Right now they are at 220, jut two over the 218 threshold. Two special elections wipes that out

I agree this is the perfect scenario for a Trump reelection. He's got Democrats to blame now

No matter how you 'spin it' the GOP LOST!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I voted for Trump, and I wanted MOST of his ideas to work. BUT If the ?GOP had taken 15 more seats then there would be no need for the BLAME GAME which I DESPISE.I worked in DC for a few years. All the government needs is someone or something to blame and all is well. Then as they stumble along they repeat, BUSH done this......OBAMA done this..... IF they hadn't all would be well...Now when nothing gets done, you will hear, if the Democrats hadn't cheated, threw in the 'Migrant caravans', caused the shootings, caused the bombs to be sent, etc..... And all that voter fraud!!!!... AND those stupid /Christians who voted Democrat caused this, of course they are headed for hell anyway, so they will pay. But in the mean time they left us in this mess.NO,,,,, if someone had ran good solid races, or been the men/women they should have, the GOP might have a REAL majority. Even maybe if our president could quit calling everyone childish names for THREE months and stop alienating good folk who might like those people, HE might have the majority he needs. If I upset you please forgive me, but I despise spinning and blame. Call an Ace and Ace. I didn't say Spade! Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

I was reading on someone's post on Facebook, that it is rare for the Senate to swing more strongly toward the president during a midterm election. The senate approves judicial nominations, too.I wonder why the house didn't just kill the Russia investigations against Trump really fast before the election

As lame ducks they still can. And if they don't you'll see why Trump didn't care that they lost. Just more of the swamp draining. The democratic lead House will do enough to swing the vote back to (hopefully), more conservative non-crony Republicans. Between all of the voluntary departures and the election losses, I believe a lot of the corruption in the GOP party is now gone (not all of it of course) I am hoping!!!! End result:D 235R 199NC-9 still yet to be decided, may be headed for a new election in that one.So the dems will have a 35-36 seat majority. GOP will have to flip 18-19 seats to retake the majority. IMHO it will take them a decade to accomplish that feat
