A few weeks ago, the workers from church got together for the monthly 'discipleship' meeting, basically a mini-church service. I go to a bilingual Spanish and English church. After the meeting, some of us were talking. Somehow, it ended up with my wife prophesying over someone and praying for them, and I did a little bit of ministry, too. Some other people wanted to get in on it, and we are in a circle praying for each other with some prophecies and other ministry going on. One of the ladies there said her shoulder hurt. I laid hands on her and either commanded healing and/ or prayed for her and she said the pain was gone. She doesn't speak English but her husband said she said she was healed. My wife prophesied all kinds of details about her past and what God was doing with her family. Her husband said it was all accurate. At a home group, the woman whose shoulder was hurt said something about being attacked by a group of people in LA once, and I think that was connected with the shoulder pain. Praise God for His healing and His other gifts.I've prayed for a lot of people and haven't gotten instant feedback that they were healed, but I have prayed for people who said they were healed and I was meditating a bit on what's going on inside of me, at least, when people get healed. Am I believing more. For other prayers, there are certain times I've had a certainty and it happened.A while back, maybe a year and a half, my brother had met a guy who was sort of homeless who was staying with him. We were both at my dad's house. I think this happened when I was visiting from overseas. Anyway, this young guy was working with him. Somehow, he'd broken his leg. He didn't have insurance but the emergency room had to see him. The emergency room said they couldn't do anything because the break was too complicated, and he had to see a specialist. Specialists do not have to see you, so basically he did not get any useful treatment.I offered to pray for him in my dad's kitchen. As I was praying and/or commanding healing, I heard his leg pop or crunch. He heard it too. He said it was better. He didn't say it was 100%. My brother reported back that it was doing better. The guy was walking on the leg when I saw him, but had been in pain about it. Soon after I prayed for him, he moved back to whatever town in south Georgia he had come from and we lost touch. It's funny, though, I remember hearing a testimony from John Wimber about praying for a guy with a knee problem and the guy's knee popped when he prayed for it. I heard a bone pop in a video on YouTube once of a guy who was praying for people in a soup kitchen. I remember praying that I'd experience that, bones popping like that and people getting healed. I mean bones popping back into the right place, of course. So I remembered that after the guy's bone popped when I prayed for him. I guess I believed God for healing with him. But in neither of these cases did I feel something really extreme or unusual. I heard one guy say when he prays for people and they get healed, he doesn't feel heat on his hands. He doesn't feel any energy. He just prays and believes. I think it's also good to hear those kind of testimonies instead of only the testimonies about the sensation of fire or hot oil or whatever on the hands or electricity. If we don't feel electricity or fire, that doesn't mean we can't believe God to answer our prayers and to work mightily through us for His glory
