This could encourage people to pray and minister to other people.Have you ever laid hands on someone and/or anointed them with oil and they got healed? You could share your first time, the most memorable experience. What was going on inside of you when you did this? What happened

Not in public, but several years ago I laid hands on my oldest daughter and whatever bug or virus she had was gone. Since then I’m convinced healing has to do with how you feel toward the person you are laying hands on. Specifically how much do you love the person

I was a young pastor. One of the ladies at the church had been diagnosed with cancer by two doctors. She came up for prayer and the only way I know to describe it was that I was being used in the gift of faith.I prayed for her in a way that I'd never done before. I didn't pray for her to be healed. I placed my hands on her head and to my own amazement I prayed that the cancer would die in the name of Jesus. She didn't fall and there was no huge spiritual tingling. We simply prayed and went on with service. A couple of weeks later she came to church very excited. She said that the doctor had done numerous tests, but by all appearances the cancer was completely dead. She was living and very active after that and I assume she lived a good long life

One of the most special miracles that God let me be a conduit for happened one Sunday morning while preaching. I can’t recall exactly what I had been preaching about now, but my thoughts were suddenly directed to my associate pastor. I walked over to him, and laid my hand on his chest. The words just kind of blurted out of my mouth, “In Jesus’ name, I curse this disease, and speak life into this body!” He began crying, and I continued on with my sermon, which was almost finished anyway. He had been suffering terribly for several months with sarcoidosis, an autoimmune, cancer-like disease which, in his case, had caused him a lot of difficulty with breathing, bronchitis, etc., and which had depleted his normal physical energy significantly, even though he had been undergoing medical treatment for months. His symptoms began improving rapidly after that morning. On his next CT scan, the lung nodules that had previously been growing larger and had been making it so hard for him to breathe had shrunk down to just small bits of what the physician described as scar tissue. Nearly two years after God told me to rebuke his disease that Sunday morning, he recently had another CT scan at the insistence of his doctor, just to see if they could find anything. The doctors still can’t really explain how his sarcoidosis has totally cleared up.

Interesting that this subject comes up at this time. Recently the Lord spoke to me and said; start speaking to the diseases and bodies that are in pain. Jesus actually told the disciples to go and heal. Yes, we do so in the authority of the Name of Jesus Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

A few weeks ago, the workers from church got together for the monthly 'discipleship' meeting, basically a mini-church service. I go to a bilingual Spanish and English church. After the meeting, some of us were talking. Somehow, it ended up with my wife prophesying over someone and praying for them, and I did a little bit of ministry, too. Some other people wanted to get in on it, and we are in a circle praying for each other with some prophecies and other ministry going on. One of the ladies there said her shoulder hurt. I laid hands on her and either commanded healing and/ or prayed for her and she said the pain was gone. She doesn't speak English but her husband said she said she was healed. My wife prophesied all kinds of details about her past and what God was doing with her family. Her husband said it was all accurate. At a home group, the woman whose shoulder was hurt said something about being attacked by a group of people in LA once, and I think that was connected with the shoulder pain. Praise God for His healing and His other gifts.I've prayed for a lot of people and haven't gotten instant feedback that they were healed, but I have prayed for people who said they were healed and I was meditating a bit on what's going on inside of me, at least, when people get healed. Am I believing more. For other prayers, there are certain times I've had a certainty and it happened.A while back, maybe a year and a half, my brother had met a guy who was sort of homeless who was staying with him. We were both at my dad's house. I think this happened when I was visiting from overseas. Anyway, this young guy was working with him. Somehow, he'd broken his leg. He didn't have insurance but the emergency room had to see him. The emergency room said they couldn't do anything because the break was too complicated, and he had to see a specialist. Specialists do not have to see you, so basically he did not get any useful treatment.I offered to pray for him in my dad's kitchen. As I was praying and/or commanding healing, I heard his leg pop or crunch. He heard it too. He said it was better. He didn't say it was 100%. My brother reported back that it was doing better. The guy was walking on the leg when I saw him, but had been in pain about it. Soon after I prayed for him, he moved back to whatever town in south Georgia he had come from and we lost touch. It's funny, though, I remember hearing a testimony from John Wimber about praying for a guy with a knee problem and the guy's knee popped when he prayed for it. I heard a bone pop in a video on YouTube once of a guy who was praying for people in a soup kitchen. I remember praying that I'd experience that, bones popping like that and people getting healed. I mean bones popping back into the right place, of course. So I remembered that after the guy's bone popped when I prayed for him. I guess I believed God for healing with him. But in neither of these cases did I feel something really extreme or unusual. I heard one guy say when he prays for people and they get healed, he doesn't feel heat on his hands. He doesn't feel any energy. He just prays and believes. I think it's also good to hear those kind of testimonies instead of only the testimonies about the sensation of fire or hot oil or whatever on the hands or electricity. If we don't feel electricity or fire, that doesn't mean we can't believe God to answer our prayers and to work mightily through us for His glory
