1. Staying home and hosting dinner at your house2. Traveling to be with friends/family3. Going out to eat4. Serving others who otherwise wouldn’t have Thanksgiving dinnerIt’s 2 for us and we’re looking forward to it “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

Funny that. We are gypsies. We are used to being in places where no one knows us and we know no one. We are happy with that. But in this area, we have met a few folk. So they, being local, feel sorry for us not having family around at thanksgiving. We have three invites for Thanksgiving dinner. We declined and will find something open for dinner. After 80 years of life and crowds at Thanksgiving, we enjoy it being just us! A sandwich or a dinner at an open restaurant, and we are happy. It is the company (my sweetheart) that is important. BUT that is ME, as an old married man that still has his wife! Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

I have cooked for Thanksgiving ever since my mom moved in with us many years ago and was unable to cook herself. She passed 11 years ago so that's been our tradition for several years now. It will just be my hubby & me, and my daughter & her hubby & my sister this year. My oldest son will be with his girldfriend's family in FL (where he's living), and my youngest hasn't been with us in several years. (He chooses not to communicate with us.) My mother-in-law, who has lived with us for several years, is in the hospital this year.So I'll be cooking & hosting. Guess I'd better get to that, huh? Still lots to do More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name
