A friend from church treated my family for lunch. Then, at our house, wanted to discuss me going into business with him, advertizing and sales for his kind of work. He's a 'feeler' type person. He said he felt God been though we were not talking about God. After a while, he had specs of gold colored and shiny red stuff on his shirt and face. My wife did, too. I checked my shirt-nothing. So then he prayed for me and thete are specs on my shirt and face. The color was gold or silver. Some gold specs looked blue from certain anles. There were no glittery decorations in the room we were in and we were far from A/C vents. We spent some time looking in a mirror ar specks of gold and red stuff and part of the time praying. We went back to the table and the business notes we had been writing had shiny specks on it

I remember the phase in this area. gold dust, glitter, teeth filled with gold. I am ashamed, I guess, to admit I don't believe it is a God thing. I am an amateur magician this is a very simple process. I fail to see what glory God gets from this. I would be willing to say that if the dust, particles etc were analyzed they would be worthless. if it is real gold or silver I will gladly apologize and begin praying. just saying. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Well, the guy who visited my house did not seem like the magician type, to me. If he could get glitter on my while holding both my hands with his, head bowed praying, he's pretty skilled. But it did not seem to be him.I did have some glittery objects in other parts of the house. But the glitter stuff showed up after we'd been talking a while.About the gold dust stories I have heard about, I've been careful not to speak against it. I don't really know what the point is exactly, either. But I also I don't have to know what something means for it to be from God. Critics of Pentecostals ask what the point is of falling on one's back after being prayed for. We could apply the same critical eye to Biblical miracles. Some of them have a practical purpose. The hosts ran out of wine and Jesus turned water into wine. Thousands were hungry, and Jesus fed them.Jesus was praying on the land and needed to get to the other side, and he walked on water to get into the boat. But, uh-oh, what was the reason for Peter walking on water? He was already in the boat. Why would he need to walk on water? We see the experience was used to teach Peter, the other disciples, and us about how God can use them and us, and how important it is to have faith and not doubt. Any miracle could teach similar things, without having another external practical purpose.I suppose it's possible we got glitter on us somehow and did not realize where it came from and just noticed it. I could speculate that one of us has a rather festive angel with an unusual sense of humor following us around, or that there was a miracle done in some other way. If it is supernatural, then what would it mean? Maybe it's a way to draw attention to what we were planning on doing, signifying blessing for the business. We were talking about finances, but also the opportunity to meet and interact with many people and to minister to them. I need a way of earning a living right now, so it is good that people are wanting to do business with me. I am not sure what gold and red means. Still, it was something to pray about, gold dust or not. If it's a miracle and the gold dust isn't worth money, maybe that helps prevent the the more 'prosperity' minded folks from bringing a broom and dust pan to church

Get down to the closest jeweler and have the gold dust tested. If it's gold - consider it a God thing. If it's tinsel - consider it a fake.No need to question whether it is of God - know for sure

Post subject:  SCFIRE: You're right about it not guaranteeing the matter. However, I'm thinking most charlatans are not going to use real gold when glitter will suffice for most folks.Again, it's not a guarantee, but for me, it leans it in the direction of being real.

Several years ago as my wife was leading worship the oil began to show up on her hands and she laid hands on over 80 people and as she prayed with her hands on peoples heads and clothes the oil would be wiped off. This went on for 3 hours and the oil replenished itself and it the end it stopped. People were really ministered to and some were healed and saved as well and also received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues. The next Sunday the Gold dust appeared and it appeared randomly on many in the congregation for the next year then it stopped. When it came it was during times of worship or when we were talking about it and giving God the Glory. People were filled with the Holy Ghost during these times and also salvations happened. The oil and the Gold Dust would appear at the different times and sometimes at the same time. One precious brother was visiting and while he was there it began to show up on his hands and he turned to me and said I can't believe this but God really does love me. We don't need this to know God loves us but it really encouraged him. I'm not a flake and was raised old fashioned holiness and I've seen fake stuff all my life. Fake prophesies, overheard information used as the Word of Knowledge, manipulation and hype that was straight up crazy. I went thru the Voice of Healing era, the AA Allen era, WV Grant and spent some time in the Charismatic movement and taught an Episcipalian prayer group for 18 months. I've seen miracles in all of these venues as well as some fake stuff. I don't fall for everything I hear or see, but I do know that sometimes His Manifestations are called wonders for a reason. I know there are no magicians in our Assembly and the people that experienced these things are not given to any type of tomfoolery. Whatever God does is ok with me and don't try to explain everything away that I see. I like Kenneth Hagins response (the Daddy) to others questions. Look at the fruit it bears, and if it's Good fruit then say it's God. Ex: Someone asked if a lady that went out in the Spirit was a real thing and he said, let's just wait & see. When she got up she started hugging people and praising God in a very precious way, and that'w when he said - Yes, it's real. If Jesus can spit on a tongue, put mud in a man's eye and see them healed why can't He use some oil & dust to encourage people. That's just my 2 cents worth

Post subject:  Link: It's a God thing if I have financial needs - and he supplies it with gold. Every good gift comes from ...SO - Any of you clowns wanting to supply NBF with gold - I can forward my address to you. I promise not to call any of you the devil if you do

Is there a reason to think God values gold more than tinsel. We do. But does that mean God cares either way. Some of it was red anyway. It looks more like glitter than gold dust. There is stuff that looks like that on the decorations in the house. We just can't figure out any way we would have contacted it and got it on our clothes and faces. I'm not saying this is definitely a miracle. But it was an interesting experience. I think our guest left thinking it was a miracle
