At the last church I pastored was the last member I buried who was a precious saint of the era you speak. She was one of the best Cooks around. She cooked the best fried pies I have ever eaten. She told stories about how her and other ladies of the church pretty much paid the bills cooking food and selling it for the church. |

| Smiling at DK's memories. My mama was always leader of the LWWB where dad pastored. His aim was always to get the church out of debt, and that always happened, 'With mama's help baking cooking and selling for the church!I loved mama's fried pies. ...Good ole' pie day! Now it is gone! Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/ |
