I have often pondered just how to reconcile that God cannot be tempted, nor does He tempt anyone, with evil...to that part of the Lord's Prayer.

As far as the changes, does it matter what the Roman Catholic church says the Lord's prayer is supposed to be?It is not the Lord's prayer anyway...it is the disciples way to pray or blueprint of prayer. The disciples asked teach us to pray and the Lord told them to pray this way. Don't think it was ever meant to be turned into a prayer, just a pattern of how to pray. Done ranting.
