I knew only one, and her hey day was in the 1950s. Sister Wineberger, NC pastor and evangelist.Sister Brannen is in her 90's now, she was a woman on the ball.Do we have any Female 'camp meeting' Speakers now? I am so out of the loop I do not know. Hopefully someone will bring some to mind. Good question though. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Most likely this would have to be a woman from the dominant S/E since we don't have any great, well known ladies in the west. But overall take a look at our policy of male dominance & you'll be hard pressed to find a woman who has strong leadership qualities that men could admire, much less have name recognition. As to sitting on the EC ...haha, not gonna happen for a very long time as long as the good ole boys of the south maintain their low opinions of women in leadership. Every time the discussion arises of women possibly being in a place of leadership someone will compare our priceless, beautiful women, who love Jesus with all their hearts, to some left-wing gay nut case who opposes Christianity. It's scandalous when ministers draw an equal comparison, in terms of future leadership changes, of Christ loving women to those in the gay community Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!Email me at: [email protected] planters are focused on just one thing ...introducing people to Jesus!

I know who she is, she was our night speaker a few years ago here in Calif. for our camp meeting. But even with her gravitas & awesome personality she would never make it to the EC.I think she's a fine leader, a little loose with the verbal facts sometimes but I've never been embarrassed by her candor Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!Email me at: [email protected] planters are focused on just one thing ...introducing people to Jesus!

Which ever one gets invited to the campmeeting circuit the months before a G.A. - just like how the men get voted in

That I have heard over and over since my Florida life. Even in the SE, I still do not know of an ACTIVE high profile lady in NC. We had Sis. Collins but she passed away very young. in the last few years. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

That I have heard over and over since my Florida life. Even in the SE, I still do not know of an ACTIVE high profile lady in NC. We had Sis. Collins but she passed away very young. in the last few years. Diane Collins would have definitely been one to consider. She could flat-out preach but she had a servant's heart. Miss that lady More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name

I think most women in ministry today are in ministry with their husbands. Many of them co-pastor with their husbands. One female minister that I respect a lot is Pam Brewer. Her husband was our AB in ENC a few years back, and they are over the Discipleship program in Cleveland now. She was healed of cancer and has a powerful testimony. She walks in a strong anointing and has a heart for people More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name
