| I think most would agree with that.That's clearly not the case everywhere though, as there was both rigorous debate in that thread and people sharing stories about themselves and people they knew who had been harmed by legalism. |

For example, we shouldn't talk about preachers who beat people over the head to give because a lot of people don't give at all? This thread/objection doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. |
