No doubt about it, IMO. At the core, this is the story of a pastor who thought he knew better with tragic consequences. But I empathize with him. COVID is an invisible enemy, as the president keeps saying. We've never experienced anything like it in our lifetimes. We have no frame of reference for it. I don't think it's completely unreasonable for someone to think what he did when he did, even though he was obviously wrong.
