I dunno, this could be the catalyst that brings about Israel's destruction of Damascus. Even if it's not,the Arab states are not going to take this setting down. Moving our embassy to Jerusalem will not CAUSE any violence. Ensuing violence will be CAUSED by the violent. Israel doesn't have to let us move our embassy there, but they are a sovereign nation and what they do in their own borders is their prerogative. I don't think so. I am not into this Israel thing as much as most. The way I see it, the significance of the regathering of the Jews to their land is for final judgment. In Revelation, God refers to Jerusalem as Sodom. Jews are still some of the most anti-Christian people in the world. Overall, I am in favor of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capitol, but strictly from a geopolitical point-of-view. I don't see anything in scripture that would lead me to believe God will bless a nation for such a decision
