with on on this issue and hijack this thread but,While I agree with most of what you say and I do believe you can fall to sin while still being saved, but a lifestyle surrendered to the sinful flesh will disqualify your relationship with God over time. Unbelief certainly disqualifies you but what of this: (and I only am using NIV for ease of reading - I study from many translations and read some greek and very little hebrew but computer understands more than me)Gal 5:16-21NIV So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (17) For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. (1But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. (19) The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; (20) idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions (21) and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.1Jn 3:5-10NIV But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. (6) No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. (7) Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. (The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. (9) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. (10) This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God's child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.
