So what do you think?First I was glad to hear much of the stuff. I am sure the fact-checkers will mow him down. I thought it was a good speech but I doubt if it convinced the ones on the Democrat side to cooperate on any immigration policy other than what they want.I personally believe in a path to citizenship for the illegals here with a clean record. I am not sure how far they will go.So what do you think over all. I rate the speech pretty good. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Speech was good.It will be known as the Americans are Dreamers too speech in years to come.He does well when he does a Barack Obama - and only reads from a teleprompter. We used to laugh at Obama doing that - now we hope Trump does it.And he offers amnesty to 3 times the amount of folks the Democrats said they wanted to offer the illegal immigrant Dreamers. And the Democrats looked sour over it. What gives? They let a wall be built as their price. Small price to pay if you really want to help young folks wanting to live in America imho.Remember the last time he gave a great speech - he had it ruined within three days with some petty tweeting. Please God - let our President learn from last time. Please

And how about the North Korean escapee - that lives in South Korea now - his Dad killed trying to also escape...used crutches to escape because his legs were amputated in a train accident - has prosthetic legs now - but keeps his crutches so he can remember how far he has come...and brought them with him to the State of the Union address....powerful

It's because Trump didn't say how he wanted to preserve the right of women to have their unborn babies torn limb from limb for convenience' sake.

Wait Aaron, I thought you said we shouldn't use such violent language in another thread where I said something similar. I applaud you though, I agree 100%. Unless a Republican said they want to murder babies and force gay sex on all white men, Demonicats will never be satisfied.

I think the POTUS did an outstanding job last night & he even invited the dems to work along side of him.Grateful for all the progress he's made & excited to see the future unfold as long as the liberal extremist don't try to silence him JFK style. Not one bit worried about him going off script a bit because it shows he has passion for what he's doing.Would be great if we could see some sweetness between he & FLOTUS but they've always been private so who knows.One of the polls that MSNBC & CNN were talking about this morning showed how that an amazing 45% of democrats thought he did his speech was spot on & several dems they interviewed were upset at the dems sitting on their hands.It seems he's even toned down the tweets a bit.I would give him an A for how well it turned out.
