I used a CPA only when I was in business. All other times I have filled our tax returns by reading, digging and doing.This time was no different. Except I have to down load forms and read instructions on line.Do you remember when the PO had thousands of all forms in the lobby?The IRS should be saving at least a Billion dollars in printing forms and shipping them.We are receiving a refund for the first time in many years. All tolled it is $196 less than last year with the same income. We have mailed a check for the last 16 years. This year they are sending me $144. unless they find a mistake in my work.I hope this happens to everyone in the USA! A refund that is. I you have filed? better or worse than last year?
