I had never really thought about it but I found out recently that the Church of God can/will revoke the license of a minister for conducting a funeral for a homosexual. Does anyone know the specifics of this prohibition? Is that only if the person publicly acknowledges living a homosexual lifestyle? Would it be the case for someone who discloses homosexual thoughts/feelings, maybe even considers him/herself to be homosexual but is totally celibate? It just struck me as odd that the church would deny a family the support/comfort of a funeral because of the acts of the deceased. Also, are there other situations for which a COG minister may not perform a funeral A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still
