I've got a house full of kids. I have looked into some tax calculators, and I may have to pay as much as $4000 more per year more than I would have under the old system, if I remember right. Not having exemptions for kids hurts if you have a lot of them. Maybe those estimates do not fully account for the new credits they are allowing. Has anyone else looked into it? It would seem to me that families with a lot of children should be a high priority for a tax break. Maybe it's one of those social engineering things to encourage smaller family sizes like the China one-child-policy or South Korea not allowing third children to get the same health insurance benefits other kids got back in the day
