I'm not sure I agree. Rep. Waters has always been on the extreme left of the Democratic caucus, but I'm not sure this kind of language has previously been used this overtly, at least not by nationally elected officials.

I'm a conservative, not a Trump supporter, though I rather him than Clinton. That said, I don't think it would be wise to harass me when I'm pumping gas. I may fear for my life and the harasser may become a human torch. I'm willing for them to be burned on the altar of liberalism if it keeps me and mine safe from assault. In Texas, you have carte-blanche to open fire on anyone on your property in the middle of the night if you feel threatened. Guarantee you that will happen if any of the loons try it here, and there will be a celebration and city parade the next day.

If you feel your life is threatened with great bodily harm...you have a right to use deadly force.It's all about the state of mind of the person being harassed. That is why this call for harassment is not good.
