Where was someone implying attack? This seems like there being a post asking why Coca-Cola moved from cane sugar to beet sugar, someone giving the direct access for the answer, and then someone swooping in as if the questioner/info provider were somehow at odds. I'm not sure, but I believe these 2 answers are related.As for when it became a Liberal Arts College (and I really am embarrassed that so many think that Liberal Arts is even remotely related to liberal ideology, not saying anyone here thinks that, I've just seen a few comments that make me think some do), Wikipedia says it became an accredited 4 year Liberal Arts college in 1968 (if I'm reading that right). It added a junior college program as early as 1948, but not sure if that meets the criteria of the question.
