Consider that even if you die with a good reputation, it may be that 150 years in the future, your life/activities will be looked upon as deeply hateful and vile (see the Confederate memorials).It may also be that, 100 years in the future, Cosby will be looked upon more favorably. Eventually, this whole approach of tarnishing people for their flaws (although Cosby's issues went far beyond flaws) is going to catch up to everyone. We will eventually realize that we are allowing idiots who thrive on outrage to define America for us. And if we keep it up, EVENTUALLY, they are going to take on the wrong legacy...and everyone else will rise up and condemn them for their foolishness. But by then most of the damage will be done, I suppose.
