I heard this morning that Mary was ostracized, that Joseph did not marry her until she was 5-6 month pregnant and her family and neighbors KNEW she was pregnant out of wedlock.It was always my opinion that they were married early. That the angels admonition to Joseph was VERY early on and he sped up the marriage to keep Mary from being embarrassed publically for 'messing around' before marriage. I have never actually tried to study it because of my preconceived notions. What is actually the Biblical time schedule for the pregnamcy and marriage of Joseph and Mary? I thought God saved her the whispering and accusations. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

It appears she went and stayed with Elizabeth for the first 3 months of her pregnancy. Not sure if she was married at that time ... But I don't understand the betrothal stuff of that day and age...sort of married...sort of not yet
