Will the 2020 Census trigger the next Civil War?The oft over looked contributing factor to USA's first Civil War is the three-fifths compromise which established a slave would be counted as three-fifths (or as some say three out of five slaves would be counted) of a person when taking a census of a state’s overall population. The numbers from the census establishes how many seats in the U.S. House of Representatives each state has, and any government programs distribute resources/funds. As a result, going into the Civil War, by using the 3/5th calculation, the South had a disproportionate number of seats in the House. The 2020 Census may move forward with a count of all residents of a geographic area, including citizens, legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. The result will be more House seats for CA and other states which are illegal friendly (Sanctuary cities and states). Likewise, the distribution of resources/funds will be disproportionate to the number of citizens in the geography area. Simply put, the areas with more citizens and legal immigrants will loss money and representation, while they see areas with more illegals gain. Also, this will result in laws being passed which favor the areas with the largest number of illegals. Why is there a rush on the border? Could it be an effort to stake-the-deck before the census? With schools, law enforcement and medical care already strained by the illegal immigrants, its not hard to imagine the conflict in Congress and the courts exploding to the state borders. This time it will not be North and South, rather the West Coast and the East Northeast against what is called fly-over country. The outcome could be as many as five different smaller countries emerging form what was the US. Perhaps something like India, when after civil war the one nation of West Pakistan & East Pakistan being cut from the map of India. Then West and East Pakistan had a civil war of their own, and East Pakistan became the independent nation of Bangladesh. I don't see CA and NY staying one nation after various countries in between them are formed. The 2020 Census is coming - be ready. They may have the ports and population, but we have the pipelines, power-lines, roads, farmland and resources. Mat
