Are we talking store-bought? A woman I knew in Tennessee made the best I ever had. But in a store? A little grocery store/deli on Chouteau Blvd in Saint Louis. Those folks made the best soul food you ever set your mouth to, and that lady could fry chicken that would make you slap your mammy!

There was an older guy in my first church that used to invite me over for lunch. Best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Just salt, pepper, and a black iron skillet

For quick chicken I prefer Bojangles, BUT my mama gave her recipe to my wife and the people who eat it say she could have her own chain. hahahahaBUT I do love chicken fried. Today I pressure cook it with rice.... Mama says it is best, I think it is because I am doing the cooking. hahaha.I am paying attention to the answers and want to try one or two of them. Probably start with Myrtle Beach iffn the storm leaves it there. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Publix! The perfect Sunday after church meal, for me, would be to get cole slaw and mashed potatoes from KFC, then stop at Publix for the fried chicken, and take it all home to watch eh NFL.
