Other than reading the history of your local church on your website, I don't know much about how you came to be (why you left the COG or why the COG showed you the way out). Are you a single local church or a group of connected local churches? Just wondering.

I am delighted to say that SPWC is a part of a family of Congregations. We range from Church of God Cleveland, TN to Assemblies of God Springfield,MO to Congregational Holiness Griffin, GA and several non-affiliated Pentecostal Congregations. We support a great Youth Camp and through that endeavor have met many outstanding Christian folk.We removed ourselves from the political control of Cleveland in 1989, following the bizarre actions of the then State Overseer of North GA.We are and have always been Church of God people. We have welcomed a former General Overseer of the CoG as well as several who have occupied various offices both international and state. One in particular declared from our pulpit, This is what I was raised in.Kind of proud of that statement, it was a tremendous compliment Charles A.
