Mecum Auctions is my favorite of the big car auctions. They brought Bullitt to Dallas last year and I took my family to see a once in a lifetime car. If you watch the Kissimmee auction, they had the car in a glass box, but in Dallas there was only a small rope dividing you from the car, I could have touched it if I'd wanted to. It was a really cool experience for a Mustang AND action-movie fan.

Oh yeah, I have a really good one of me standing by it in my cowboy hat. I'd share it, but that would out me as the really well-known guy that I really am (LOL!) Son, we all know you by your Avatar! To be safe you could Photoshop Billy Carter or Walker Texas Ranger into the pic! LOLWhen I settle down I want a classic to drive around, but not in that class that is for sure. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Strange how at one point something is very important. Like Steve chasing the car down and offering the owner money and one like it so he could keep the original in the family..........Every small town has it's local millionaires. Locally ours held on to land that the older men in town said would never be sold or built on. Strange how later families see no need to hold onto something of real value and start selling things off. So the Mustang seems to have been out of the family for a few years now. I had to watch the chase scene again to remember it.It was good, I sure ain't crazy about driving in that city at normal speeds.... Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
