I'm smiling as I read this. I remember my dad quoting a pastor who always left a church with less attendance than when he arrived. Once he left, the church grew under the next pastor. Dad said he talked to his fellow pastor once and he said, I have never torn a church down, it is my commission from God to clean out the dead wood so it can grow. The guy following me always gets the praise.Dad had followed him once. And the church did indeed grow. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
