In another post, OTCP has shared that he is leaving the board because he feels some want him to go.Nobody has told me they left because of OTCP. Some felt the constant harping on the types of degrees people were claiming, was a bit much, but nobody has mentioned to me that they were leaving because of OTCP. In fact, I believe many probably stayed because of OTCP.A number of posters have dropped out because of the hyper-grace guys but none that I know of because of OTCP. When we began Actscelerate, it was prior to Twitter, Facebook, Smart Phones and all other kinds of communication now available to individuals. It was the first time in the more than 100 years of COG history that it's members and ministers had a place where they could share their opinions without fear of recrimination. Today, there are many such places for communications, but ACTS may still be one of the few places where our members and ministers can share their opinions while using a pen name.OTCP: Oh NO YOU DON'T bring to a close one of the most prolific and interesting legacy of posts, by saying it is because some want you to leave. If you feel it is time to go, we respect that, but go with your head high and with the understanding, that NOBODY ELSE has had a more prolific record of interesting and often very humorous posts, than OTCP. If this was the New York Times Best Seller List, OTCP would be at the very top. If it was the Top Forty Hit List of music, OTCP would have been Number One. In fact, in my opinion, OTCP is still Number One. I wish you wouldn't go, but if you must, THANK YOU for your long legacy of inspiring us with your insight and amazing wit. It has been an honor and a blessing to have you sharing with us all these years. I wish you the very best and if you change your mind, the door to our heart is always open to you.In some ways, you may find that having a place like this to share your heart and insight, is as important to you as to us. It is important to us! I believe your insight has been and can continue to be a blessing to your Church, the Church of God. In our circles, your commentary is as beneficial as Benjamin Franklin's Poor Richard's Almanac was prior to and during the Revolutionary War. The COG is not at war with anyone but the Devil, but that war is actually even more important than our Revolutionary War. In that war, a nation was at stake. In the war against the Devil, all of humanity is at stake. During the Revolutionary War, they won a nation. In our day, it seems our nation is slipping away. Voices like yours, can make a difference to us in such times. However, if you feel your silence is more important than your powerful voice of wisdom and wit, we wish you many heartfelt blessings. Love ya Bro.Doyl
