I was emboldened by Cojak's example of requesting prayer here and his subsequent testimony of answered prayer.I am requesting prayer for myself. Without getting into the nitty gritty details (because we're in mixed company), I have a physical problem that has become progressively worse over the last 5 years.I'm very close to the point of being forced to have a surgery or procedure for something that I had been hoping would eventually resolve itself. I haven't had health insurance and that complicates matters a bit. I was going to sign up; I'm eligible for Medicaid, but NC chose not to expand the program, so I cannot get that. (And without getting into too many details here, my husband is considered self-employed, and when he subtracts his expenses, our income is considered too low to receive a tax premium credit on health insurance. I don't really want to get into that; I'm just saying that to let you know that I'm feeling confused about which direction to proceed. And right now my physical issue is a bit of an impediment in getting a job.)Bottom line, I'm praying for physical healing and for enough strength, courage, and wisdom to figure out where to go from here.Please don't feel you need to post a response on the thread. I appreciate the prayers even if you don't want to post.
