Now, I know that a revival is a revival. There's just one gospel. But I also know that some ministers seems particularly gifted to reach a particular audience. For whatever reason, our older, lily-white church (I suppose the average age of our most faithful members is in the 70s) attracts a group of young black kids from the neighborhood. They come to Sunday School, they help receive the offering, they sing in the youth choir, and they (in fact, a good number more of them) attend the mid-week service. But while some have confessed Jesus and been baptized, I was reading in Judges 2about that generation the KNEW not God. I have a feeling that most of these of these kids (mostly younger children and pre-teens) know more ABOUT Jesus than then know HIM.I feel like the Lord has laid it on my heart to seek revival for these children. We are a small church that cannot afford any sort of fair compensation, I'm afraid...but perhaps God will make up the difference.
