I have no idea.BUT I have a friend who was Ordained in the 4SQ, never pastored and was accepted directly into the COG. That is probably a more 'direct route'. Maybe others are taking that route. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

We have about a dozen who have gone through the process over the last 1-5 years & it has changed since I went through it back in 1981.You can do the course work via internet. You can order the DVD's & do it at your own pace.Calif. requires all candidates to attend 3 on campus meetings at our state office ministry center at the old West Coast Christian College campus. The last time I checked the course runs about $600 & each candidate who wants CoG credentials has to submit an application for the federal background check which I do believe is around $100. There might be a couple of small fees I'm not recalling but overall the whole thing is thorough & well put together. It def helps to weed out those who are not serious about getting CoG credentials. (btw, MIP is not in itself an automatic application for credentials. Each candidate still has to make application for their exhorters which they can do simultaneously.)If a candidate for credentialing is coming from another recognized denomination then many times the CIMS/MIP requirement is waived. Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!Email me at: [email protected] planters are focused on just one thing ...introducing people to Jesus!
