Just checking in...I had a total knee replacement last Wednesday. I'm still having a lot of pain, but that's pretty normal. I think it is getting better. They also found when they went in to do the surgery that the ligament that connects to my kneecap was torn, so he had to sew that up, also. Because of that, I'm wearing a knee immobilizer till I return to the doc on 5/7. I am also allergic to the tape they used on me and that is causing a few issues. Please remember me in your prayers that the recovery goes well with no further complications. I've waited a long time to have this done, and it was getting to the point that the pain was unbearable. Thank you for your prayers. I received permission from the doc through the PT (physical therapist) yesterday to take off the immobilizer, which has made getting around easier.
