From the linked article:“Experts believe that the explosion in the witch population is due to millennial women’s embracing of new-age spirituality, mindfulness, meditation, and yoga.”I knew Bound for Beulah was on to something about them sashayin women “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

It was not untill 2 years ago that I met my first real live presbyterian. I was very surprised at how nice they were and they seemed to be a genuine christian. I had heard stories about the presbyterians but never had the opportunity to meet one for myself. On the other hand I have met quite a few wiccan followers over the years. Most of them were mostly quiet about it and the one thing that they all had in common was the bumpersticker on their compact cars.

Be careful not to let groups like the very liberal PCUSA represent all Presbyterianism to you. There are some profoundly orthodox Presbyterian denominations in the US, like the PCA, EPC, and OPC.

The story was neither parent went to church mama was invited to a tent meeting and was saved in the Belmont COG (NC). Soon her husband (girlfriends daddy) not thrilled with his wife's COG experience started going to the Presbyterian Church and tried to force (encourage the wife to go with him.). She being her own person said I started to church first, you should go with me. He did not, and was known to throw the 'pharisee' title around toward the COG. He never changed nor did she, they actually raised a good family, MAINLY BECAUSE MY MOTHER IN LAW WAS A TRUE CHRISTIAN. I never met a better example as a Christian.I know relatively little about other denominations but I do know one thing, Wiley (father in law) was the first Presbyterian and Republican I ever met. The Republican thing was basically unheard of in a cotton mill town. But he was a mill worker who was not a Democrat. VERY UNUSUAL in the 40-50 era.I never met a real witch, met a few who I considered a witch. LO Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
