I have further heard the left say that the whole point of the OT is to entertain and welcome strangers. Yes, this is what is going on out there. At the same time, those using the OT and NT at their disposal don't really embrace a whole lot of anything that I term righteous behavior.

Since the left's idea of entertaining is closely tied to the city's namesake, then I'd say they need to rethink their position paper. Its very interesting they would refer to Sodom on this topic and avoid it at all costs on the other one.
