Agreed Dave.A prominent person of interest in the article is Darrell Gilyard - from my area - Jacksonville.This is the nicest dude - a big smile - a really great preacher - crossed racial divides easily - I would often watch him on TV - but - he couldn't keep it in his pants - especially around 14 year old girls.And when caught for the 2nd and 3rd time - the parishioners - as well as apparently prominent Baptist leaders according to that article - begged for him to be forgiven and continue as pastor. Jesus forgave him - why can't all you Pharisees.

we've had the forgive vs. restore (to same office) debate on acts a few times. Usually its about 10 to 1 on the restore side where everyone who disagrees is cast as merciless tyrants (even though none of them said not to restore them to the body, or even as preachers, just not shepherds)
