The House majority is a very moderate majority. For decades, the Dems have succeeded by campaigning as moderates and then governing as hard-left liberals. AOC, for all her innumerable flaws, is at least honest about who she is and what she believes, and that's a huge threat to the Democratic majority if what we see on Twitter and online doesn't represent the party as a whole. In some States though, there are few normal Democrats left. Just look at what the Georgis Dems nominated for Governor last time. The Georgia Dem Party has called for sandblasting the Confederate images off of Stone Mountain, making the possession of a Confederate flag illegal (even in your home), and requiring all men to report to the police every time they ejaculate

I am disputing that the Georgia Democratic Party has called for any of these (with the exception of the first one, that's plausible), and am requesting proof for that claim. I could be misinformed, so I await evidence to correct me. Then let me clarify my remarks. When I say Dem Party I am talking about members of the State Assembly. Let's not split hairs here

Timing is everything!Pelosi left them alone for 2+ years & she would love to not deal with them at all but there is a major problem ...Mr. Trump will most likely be re-elected in 2020 & Pelosi knows it.She doesn't want the 4 freshmen brats to stink it up any more than they have been cause it turns off middle of the road democrats who might swing their vote to the conservatives again.
