BUT WNC is always behind in reports, but comparing :APR/MAY 2017.. worship 403.. tithe 54KAPR 2019...worship 358...tithe 57KOn paper doesn't show a big difference on paper.I never attended Kannapolis churches after 1955, but Kannapolis has always been very strong COG in the Cannon Mills area.I know some blessed folk from there and haven't heard negatives...Your post took me by surprise....? Are you my cousin?? just askin Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

When I lived in Concord in the early 1990's the church was full.It was about Half that size last week.I do not remember there being 3 other Church of God congregations in Kannapolis in the early 1990's but now there are 3 other COG churches.I remember the church being an alive Pentecostal Church... last week it wasBaptist almost.

When we did MIP in Kannapolis 35 years ago, we attended Lane St. COG. Roberta Mills was a tiny little church not far away. Sam Crisp was our master pastor at Lane St., and I understand he later pastored West A. He has retired in the last few years, if I'm remembering correctly. He is a wonderful man of God who always encouraged and blessed us. When a long time pastor retires, it can change the whole personality of a church. It definitely has an effect More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name

Much truth here, many times the following pastor doesn't know how to handle the former pastors success with the people. Also TRUE, Sam is a great guy and true friend. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

One member asked if the current downward turn of the West A Street COG was God's Will?... or was it due to the nature of COG politics. She was told - since God knew who the State AB would send to West A Street then it MUST BE God's Will.
